Ordering 4x4 Tech Downloads
Download acceptance terms: Your purchase of an electronic copy of a 4x4 Tech Incorporated ("4x4 Tech") publication includes a limited license to save and/or print copies of the publication for your personal, noncommercial use only. 4x4 Tech does not grant any licenses to reproduce our hard copy Manuals, and any and all reproductions of hard copy Manuals are strictly prohibited. All other permissions are expressly denied, and all rights not expressly granted to you by 4x4 Tech in writing are reserved by the copyright owner. By purchasing a 4x4 Tech Manual, you agree not to remove or alter the copyright notice in any manner. 4x4 Tech's Manuals are protected by U.S. and/or foreign copyright laws, and the unauthorized reproduction, distribution, transmittal, display, publication and/or broadcast of 4x4 Tech's copyrighted material is expressly prohibited.

Placing Your Download Order: During the payment process, our Shopping Cart will always ask you for a 'Customer Location or Shipping Location' since it is set up to take both download and product orders. When just ordering downloads, simply click on 'Click to copy billing Address' under 'Customer Location or 'Shipping Location' to automatically use your billing address as your customer location.

Getting Your Download: Once the payment is completed, a confirmation e-mail with a live download link will automatically be sent to the e-mail address you provided during checkout. The link(s) are found in your e-mail 'order confirmation' towards the bottom. If you do not see an 'order confirmation' from orders@emart.com in your inbox, check your 'bulk, trash, junk, or spam' folders (some anti-spam software settings automatically route all automatically generated e-mails to one of the above named folders). Some network security systems also block certain e-mails. Check with your network administrator. E-mail us at sales@4x4tech.net right away if you do not find one, or have any problems.

Your Download link(s) are live for 48 hours from the moment your order is placed, so please be sure to download and save to your own computer and/or print out your Downloads for future reference and avoid losing data from hard drive failures or pesky computer issues! (Saving link to your "favorites" does not save the document to your computer.) All our written material is protected by copyright laws. All rights reserved.

Reading and Saving Your Download Links: All downloads are readable in Adobe PDF version 9.0 or higher. Updated Adobe Reader is free at www.adobe.com. All download links are live for 48 hours after purchase, so please be sure to download and save to your own computer and(or) print out your downloads for future reference and avoid losing data The links are found in your e-mail 'order confirmation', towards the bottom. Download Problems: We have very few real download problems. Most apparent download problems occur on the customers end and are easily rectified.

No Link in Inbox: By far the most common complaint we hear is the customer reports they can not find the confirmation e-mail. Usually this is from spam or network settings blocking the automatically generated download link from reaching your inbox. If you do not find the inbox order confirmation, check your bulk, trash, junk, or spam folders. Some corporate network software will also block our e-mail order confirmation, so either check with your network administrator or try downloading from home. Still can't find it? Contact us so we can either resend the link, or send a fresh, complete PDF file via e-mail.

File Corrupted-File Will Not Open: Can be several issues, including something happened to the master file on our server, but the two most common issues are poor internet connection, or your PDF software is out of date. If you are unable to open your downloaded file, first check to see if you have the latest version of Adobe Reader (free from www.adobe.com). Most of our files require at least version 7, and usually version 9, to open. If your Reader file is up to date, try downloading the file again (you can download as many times as you need during the 48 hours from time of purchase). If neither of these fixes work, contact us so we can either resend the link, or send a fresh, complete PDF file via e-mail.

Can't Find the Saved File: If you want to save a copy of the download file, you MUST, within the 48 hour download period, save that file to your hard drive, burn it on a disc, and(or) print out. Specifically, save the file in a folder you will remember. Saving to a default folder you don't know how to access, or won't remember, will be frustrating. You experienced computer users may laugh about this, but we know many of you are not computer savvy and this may be the first download PDF file you have ever worked with. If you are not sure how to save the file, get a computer experienced relative or friend to help you. Please don't call us for save help, we know 4x4's not computer programing!

Printer Issues: To date, this has always been on the customers end. All our files are enabled for high quality, color printing. If a printing problem occurs, it is usually with your printer software or sometimes the dang thing just ran out of ink!

Lost files due to hardware, software, or computer issues: We are not responsible for your computer issues. When you purchase our downloads you need to save the file on something secure and(or) print it out and keep in your files, so if you have a hard drive crash you still have the printed copy!
